Selma Tipton

	Selma Tipton, age 89, of Pinckneyville, died Sunday, February 4, 2001 at 2:25 p.m. at her home.
	 Selma was born in Owensville, Ind. on March 29, 1911, the daughter of Ross and Anna Belle (Garrison) Barrett.  She was a Licensed Practical Nurse, having worked at Southeast Missouri Hospital, Cape Girardeau, Mo., and Marshall Browning Hospital, DuQuoin.  She was also a member of the Pinckneyville Senior Citizens.
	Survivors include two sisters:  Thelma Yeager of Pinckneyville and Eunice Huggins of DuQuoin, along with several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters:  Irma Bloodworth, Juanita Shute and Alice Bradshaw.
	 Friends called at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, on Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 8 a.m. until time of services.
	Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 8 in the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home with Reverend James Bush officiating.  Interment was in the Mueller Hill Cemetery.
